Prevention Toolkit

Prevention of disease is the goal, rather than digging back out of a disease process that's already established. Though we know the main components for this - nutrition, exercise, gratitude - these guidelines can be difficult to apply in real life circumstances. If we're trying to enjoy our lives at the same time as being healthy, it becomes important to find variations that we actually like! Discovering ideas that sound fun and easy are what will make being consistent, not just realistic, but your new normal.

I have my own opinion on common recommendations, and will try to outline that here in this blog, along with some of my own ideas. It's a work in progress since I am constantly adapting what I think based on my research and results.

Currently I am working with the study and or practice of emotional health, heat and cold therapy, infrared, flickering light therapy, meditation, mindfulness, nutrition, exercise, injury protocols, routines, joy, meaningful activities, and as always, acupuncture is the star of the show for me as far as the life-altering effects that it can achieve.
